A tiny backstory... The season 1 of SYTYCJ was held on 19 September 2019 at KL Swing’s 11th Anniversary.
And...we will be hosting the 2nd Season of So You Think You Can Jazz KL! It will be held in conjunction with the final performances during the KLSF weekend, with the visiting teachers being the judges.
How?
COMPETITIONS

Choose a performance of an original routine you wish to cover

SIGN UP with a 20 sec practice video of the performance you wish to cover

SELECTION

Participants will be allowed to state their preferred coaches in order of preference

Coaches will pick their preferred teams from pool of preferences.

Will be repeated until matching complete

COACHING with a commitment from the paired coaches to meet at least once every two weeks.
Performers are also required to send progress practice vids to the organisers once every two weeks.

You will then get to perform your routine LIVE, along with the original video of the routine!

SCORING will be based on:

Accuracy to original routine (judges)

Effort – costumes (judges)

Entertainment value (audiences)
